Surrendering at the Los Angeles Guinea Pig Rescue

We understand that circumstances can change and that your last resort is to find a new home for your guinea pig(s). We are grateful that you arrived at our website! We aim to provide a safe haven to find a loving home for all guinea pigs.
We kindly ask that you do not call or email regarding surrenders, but please do fill out our form below. We have a high volume of surrender requests and due to capacity we currently have a significantly long wait list.
​​IF YOUR GUINEA PIGS CAME FROM OUR RESCUE PLEASE FILL OUT THE FORM AND WE WILL CONTACT YOU IMMEDIATELY TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT TO RETURN THEM.

SURRENDER FEE: We are a non-profit organization that relies solely on donations to keep our rescue open. A contribution to assist with the care of your surrendered guinea pigs is greatly appreciated but not mandatory. 

     Please fill out the application on your PC or Mac. It will glitch and not generate for us if you use your phone/tablet. 
    ​Filling out this form will automatically put you on our waiting list. We will then contact you and send an invitation to surrender soon as we have the capacity to take your guinea pig(s). No phone calls or emails please regarding surrendering. Appointments made without an invitation will be cancelled.

    We currently have a waiting list for intakes but do know though that we ALWAYS get to everyone on the list. Please be patient. We can only take in new animals when we have space so that means some piggies will need to be adopted first before we can take in new animals. There is no fee to surrender but if you are able to make a donation then please do so. We are not funded by the city or the government but solely on donations.
